Beat Nausea Goodbye With Ginger

Ginger is found to be potent in providing balance to the stomach, and relieving you of certain digestive problems. Ginger is natural and safe --- even to pregnant women. A word of caution, though --- ginger has warming effect, so if you feel unusually hot after taking it, reduce your dosage of ginger.

There are several ginger preparations you can employ to treat nausea --- ginger milk, ginger water, and ginger tea. Ginger milk is prepared by boiling 250 ml of fresh whole milk, then adding 25 ml of ginger juice and 25 grams of brown sugar, for at least 10 minutes. Ginger milk must be sipped while it is still hot.

Another preparation is ginger water, and this is made by simply taking 3 slices of ginger and putting it in a cup and then adding boiling water to it. You may or may not add brown sugar, depending on your taste. You can also make ginger tea to treat nausea. Ginger tea is prepared in the same manner as ginger water, only that you have to add 2 to 3 grams of black tea, and allow it to steep for a few minutes. Don't immediately throw the ginger slices out when you have finished drinking a cup. If you feel that your nausea is coming back at some point during the day, just refill your cup with boiling water.

If you have ran out of ginger, you can use Pu Er Tea. This amazing product of Yunnan province in China has many benefits particularly on the digestive system. Twisting and crushing an orange peel and sniffing it is, perhaps, the simplest way to get rid of nausea naturally.
