Potassium rich bananas are viewed as a wholesome food. Although the human body needs a daily dose of potassium, many of us don't include adequate amounts of potassium in our diets. Not only are bananas full of potassium, but bananas are also a very satisfying food. The high water and fiber content of bananas is also a positive factor.
Although bananas has several positive characteristics, a diet of only bananas still seems a bit "fishy". While many people are looking at the diet with raised eyebrows, banana produce companies are appreciative of the increase in sales.
